Who we are

This website is run by BizTeach Ltd., based in Donegal, Ireland. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through the site. You can reach us at info@bizteach.ie.

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies on bizteach.ie. It should be read alongside our Privacy notice, which covers how we use personal data more generally.

What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep small pieces of information in your browser in the same way. Together they let a site remember things between pages and visits.

Irish and EU law (Regulation 5 of the ePrivacy Regulations 2011, S.I. No. 336 of 2011, and the GDPR) says we may only store or read information on your device with your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.

How we ask for your permission

When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use optional cookies. Nothing optional is set until you choose. Rejecting everything takes one click, the same as accepting everything, and no option is pre-selected for you.

Scrolling, continuing to browse or closing the banner is not treated as consent. If you make no choice, only strictly necessary storage is used.

We keep your choice for six months, after which we ask again, in line with guidance from the Data Protection Commission. We will also ask again if we change the categories of cookies we use.

Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or the button below, to reopen your choices. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site remembering your settings.

Third parties

We do not currently set any third-party, analytics or marketing cookies on this site. Fonts are served from our own domain, so no request is sent to Google or any other font provider when you load a page.

When you submit the early access or feedback form, the details you type are sent to the form service we use to receive them. That is covered by our Privacy notice and does not involve cookies.

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will list them on this page first, update the consent version, and ask for your permission before any of them run.

Your rights and how to complain

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Contact info@bizteach.ie to exercise any of these rights.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, or at www.dataprotection.ie.

What we store on your device

This is the full list. Everything here is strictly necessary, so it works without consent. We set no analytics or marketing cookies at present.
